Early Years Safeguarding Forum
Staffordshire Safeguarding Children Board are committed to engaging with partners and practitioners so that your voices can help us shape the future of safeguarding arrangements across the children’s landscape in Staffordshire. Working together with a shared commitment to put children at the heart of everything we do, we can improve outcomes and lives of those we strive to serve.
The Board invite you to the Early Years Safeguarding Forum which aims to capture your thoughts, ideas, wishes, challenges, barriers, and feelings.
The next Early Years Safeguarding Forum is on
Monday 1th June at 10am and repeated on Tuesday 11th June at 6pm
Book your place in the Learner Management System or find out more dates to attend.
This forum which is held in conjunction with the Local Authority Early Years team will create an opportunity for you to meet with us and with each other to discuss what is going well, what are the barriers you face and how valued you feel in terms of safeguarding processes and procedures, how you feel as professionals about your safeguarding roles and how well do you understand other professionals’ roles as well as the Boards. With your help we can build relationships, learn lessons, and discuss innovation as well as listening to your voice and working together to co-produce solutions.
If you would like to participate in our forum or want to find out more and are working in an early years setting in Staffordshire we want to hear from you – contact Jude.russell@staffordshire.gov.uk or andrea.stanton1@staffordshire.gov.uk.
